Imprudent Boy of a Man

so easily do those
whom troubled at heart,
forget...
once was kindness,
and vastly it was shown upon them.
open arms and patients minds.
listen and take in...

so easily do those...
swift to inflict.
a malice rage.
oh how they do spit....
seemingly they do forget...
they too were once standing outside these gates.
bound to their own self-pity.
stumbling in tune to their materialistic woes.
daring to curse the world...
of its gorgeous misfortune of a gift...
bargain away a simplistic life,
only on a whim...
for they no not
what hardship truly is.
so say you...
now grown up
with an air that states,
i am wise...
for only it was yesterday...
when you lay broken...
a wreck and a mess.
though now...
spirits have lift.
good fortune gave way...
upon a golden plate.
now justified in your new profound ways.
arrogant you are.
egotistic with your sudden change.
oh how you feel superior...
as you look down upon the rest.
boastful like a cock...
bright feathers fanning out.
you're an arse...!
nothing more then that.
sicken, i am...
i see through you.
Shrewd and rude
hideous you are,
and all your impure thoughts...
to think you can judge
and look down upon.
rant and rave...
of all the injustice
there is in your day.
tell me now...
what color do you bleed.
or have you not sacrificed anything yet...
to understand..
the truth,
of how some go through...
a day by day life.
these are the honest ones.
i'd oblige and gratify.
but you surround yourself
with nothing more than lies...
worthless like a turnip.
Can’t make it bleed red.
you know not what you speak of...
hush you lips...
for i shall smite you
and your wickedness.
you are nothing more...
then a mortal man.
full of sin.
corrupt with shallowness.
Don't dare judge me...
or tell me how it is.
i need not your words.
tainted as they are.
i paint my own skies.
leaving out,
pollutants such as this.
so easily do you forget.
you once were so low.
with nothing aglow.
was thought poorly of ...
by those who saw you then...
yet, even in your past ways.
still... imprudent.
i see nothing has yet changed.
and now you feel on top.
let it be known...
that never again...
shall i extend a helping hand.
i hope you drown.
maybe realize then...
how misfortunate one can get.
